Everyone likes luxury tennis, they are the perfect combination between style, comfort, sophistication and coolness, the problem is that they can be a little (or much) more expensive than you want to pay for some sneakers and that can lead to you feeling physical and emotional pain when they get dirty or damaged.

Actually, sneakers are for many the most prized pieces in their closets (and it's very understandable, some are classic and iconic). We currently spend a lot of time choosing a style and model, looking for the best options and, from time to time, suffering because those we want to run out in minutes after its launch (try to buy a new Air Jordan 1 and you're going to realize the fight), so they're no longer mere shoes, but they're almost collection pieces that we proudly wear.

The first step is to buy intelligently (taking into account things like material, color, style, price, etc.) To get the perfect tennis. Once you have them, it is important that you learn to take care of them, this is what will guarantee that they will last you longer and that you will continue to look good no matter the use. And this is the best way to stop throwing money into things you Don't need.

Tennis has a lifetime and clearly does not last forever, but this may be more or less depending on what you do with them before, during and after using it. And when it comes to luxury tennis, it's especially important.

How to take care of your fancy tennis?

Save the boxes or get a shoe "tree"

A great way to protect your sneakers when you Don't use them is to put them back in their boxes (where they have enough space). This is going to prevent them from scratching or damaging contact with other shoes, getting dirty or smashing with other things in your closet.

If you Don't have room to have a collection of boxes, then it's a good idea to have a shoe tree, as these have divisions so that each pair can have their own place, so that everything is well organized or even so that you can see what shoes you have without having to dig a mountain of poorly organized things.

Invest in the right tools

El limpiador correcto

Skin and suede should not be cleaned in the same way as canvas or other common materials in tennis. If you really want them to look good for a long time, then it's important that you buy a special cleaner for each material, this to avoid damage that you won't be able to repair later.

Tennis can be seen better with use (because they suit you), but that doesn't mean you should leave them dirty, as dirt can affect their appearance and cause damage. In most cases, you just need a mixture of soap and water.

Usa un cepillo y borrador

For things like suede, knit or mesh, using a shoe brush can help maintain a good texture and remove extra dirt that accumulates and affects the color of tennis. For the skin and soles, there is the so-called magic eraser, which is a kind of eraser that removes stains without causing damage.

Un spray protector

Things like water and mud can do a lot of damage to your tennis. Sometimes you can't stop this from appearing, but you can use a protective spray that works as a kind of repellent and prevents tissues, fibers, and materials from absorbing liquids and getting stained.

Para los malos olores

If you use a lot of the same tennis, then it's possible that they start to develop a bad smell and that can be a problem for your feet. The good news is that you just need a foot and shoe spray that works as a deodorant and helps eliminate bacteria.

Clean carefully

Don't carve the stains like there's no tomorrow. Experts recommend applying the cleaner, making small touches on the stains, and rubbing slightly with a toothbrush or something similar (not too hard).

Wash the holes.

Not only should you remove the dust and dirt from your sneakers, the holes should be washed separately to prevent them from looking gray or yellowish, which is what makes your sneakers look dirty, old and worn. Simply remove them and wash them with soap and water, preferably with a warm temperature.

Never put them in the washing machine and let the sun dry.

The reason tennis doesn't wash in a washing machine is because movement can cause damage and cause them to lose their shape. It is always best to wash by hand to give them a softer treatment, and let dry in a cool place away from the sun (to avoid fungi and lose their color).

Look for a shoe Doctor.

If you are not an expert or there is a problem that you do not know how to fix alone, then it is advisable that you leave the job to the experts. And we're not talking about a dry cleaner, but about what they call themselves Shoe doctors, who have all the tools and methods they need to help get your tennis back.
