Like other luxury brands such as Chanel and Dior, Balmain joins the jewelry market with a collection of genderless pieces that will elevate anyone's look and will be available starting this summer in boutiques and online.

The brand's new line called Balmain Fine Jewelry partnered with Adorisa Group, a Paris-based company to design, produce, market and distribute the jewelry collections.

The pieces will reflect the daring, inclusive and innovative spirit that characterizes the brand and its creative director, Oliver Rousting. The first collection will feature 32 different designs, designed in Paris and handmade in France.

The entire collection will be made with excellent quality materials, 18-carat ethical gold, free minerals and treatable gems. So far, the brand hasn't shared specific details about the pieces, but considering that Balmain's spring/summer 2022 show featured oversized gold chain tops, we expect it to be packed with< b> exaggerated bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings.

"High jewelery is, of course, a natural extension of the Balmain luxury universe," noted the house's CEO, Jean-Jacques Guével of Balmain's foray into this prolific market.

In addition to announcing its foray into jewelry, the Parisian firm also announced a couple of days ago that it has collaborated with Barbie to create a line of unisex clothing, footwear and accessories that will be available globally through Farfetch.

The line will include blazers, jackets, bags, sneakers, boots and even iPhone cases, obviously everything is pink and features the Balmain logo with the iconic Barbie typeface.
